Trying a new style with a male model.
The male model is the ever so sexy Chester Bennington of the amazing Linkin Park - my favourite ever band. I'm very proud to say that this is 100% vector, no filters, no effects - patterns and gradients were used to create the textures and shadows and low opacity strokes to create a bit of a marker effect. The title is taken from the title of Linkin Park's first album "Hybrid Theory" - as I see my work of recent being very experimental in the post production stage (in terms of vector texturing). maybe we can collab in the future!!  -- toolkit04.com  this is totally fab. i love it. the only thing i would chnage is his shirt. it looks like its cutting into his neck or something. maybe you should make it another color too, like more of a gray or something, so it doesnt pop so much. my eye went straight to it. other than that this is great. you should make a vid next time of how you do one in this style.

I love a vector that doesn't look "like a vector" (I know vector is a media and not a style, but the majority of vectors look pretty much the same way...) But this is different, it almost looks like a traditional painting, I'm impressed and I love it
