Well I didn't know where i was going with this one and I ended up putting so much detailing in the eyes and lips, I had to just crop it and make it a close up vector.

Used the fabulous stock by =TwiggXstock and the specific reference I used was:

Although it may not look as if I have editted much and went straight with the reference... I did actually go reference free for most of it... for example, just doing the base layers for the skin, lips, eyes, pupils kinda thing... and then going with the flow... only referring back to the original a few times.

Mini achievements eh?

I hope you guys like it :)

Excellent work on the shadowing, especially since it appears that you went with a little softer light compared to the the picture to get a better look to your work. I have a tough time with that myself. The hair is very well done. You got the thinness on the ends and edges perfectly. The nose is well defined without being overdone and looking unnatural on the face. A little bit of pixelation in the left upper lip, very hard to get the shine right without getting that. Good work on the eyes and irises. Most excellent eyelashes (another thing that is troubling me). Overall, this is a great piece that you should be proud of.

As usual, this is a great vexel manipulation of stock photography. At first, I thought you had gotten the eyes a bit wonky, but lo and behold, the original shows that the stock photo has a bit of lazy eye (no worries...my sister has it, and if you have ever seen, Peter Jenning's had a lazy eye too.)

The coloring is great and your altering to use more of a blue than a teal is a great idea for the hair.

I would say that the underneath of the nose is a bit more defined than usual, on the left one (left in viewing, right is it were on the person), which gives a little more depth to the nose than needed.

The lips look superb and I love that you defined the color in them as you did with the hair.

Totally love the eyes. First thing that struck me was the eyes... Awesome-ness!
