So it dawned on me today, that I'm not just an active member of the vector community, but I am also an active member of the resources community!
Who'd have thought? I know it might seem pretty obvious to people who come to my account for tutorials etc... but I never really thought about it.
Anyway, this is a modified version of Look what I caught with of course the dA logo as a mouse for the Stock & Resources contest for dA's 9th Birthday
The theme is to use your own stock/resources to create a deviation with the theme "Gifts/Presents/Birthday Tributes for dA & Fella".
When a cat catches it's prey and brings it home, it's bringing you a gift! And well the dA logo can sort of look like a mouse right?
I need to link to resources I have given to dA that I have used in this vector:
Resources [link] - for the fur [link] - for some edges on the fur
Tutorials [link][link] - for the inner drop shadow around the frame and under the dA mouse [link] - the video tutorial on how to use said brushes [link] - how to create and save the exact brushes I made for the fur [link] - how I did the fur [link] - vector blending tutorial which I used for the background
Wow - who'd have thought eh? I never really paid attention to what of my own tutorials and processes I really do follow to produce something
Good luck, my dear!!!
