I have this thing with Slash.

When I was in my early teens and started appreciating music and then later boys, I was getting into rave music. I used to love just dancing around the house pretending to MC to it. Cheesey. Very cheesey.

Anyway, there was this boy I thought was cute, who was into Guns n Roses and when I heard rock music, I almost found the music more attractive than the boy. I kinda had a crush on the way he used to play along to "Sweet Child O Mine" on his guitar. Whenever I hear the rift to this day, I'm back in this boys living room with him showing off on his guitar.

He was probably the popular guy in the rock crowd but I got to spend time with him. I wasn't really part of any specific group but enjoyed the company of several.

He kissed me a few times and when I mentioned it to a friend, she didn't believe me. I was the not so popular, chubby kid making up the story of the popular rock guy who kissed me. My "friend" lets say, confronted him and he denied it.

The crush on the boy lasted maybe a couple of months and never really thought anything more of it.

About 5 years ago, I was with an old school friend at the cinema and stood infront of me was this kind of short guy... "Hey Sharon, how are you?" - the eyes looked fimilar but I had not a clue.

After pleasantries, the old school friend and I departed to the theatre room to watch the movie. He lent over and said... "you know who that was right?"

Yeah, it was the early teen crush I had. Post drug addition and not the cutie I remembered. Kind of regretted seeing the older him. Atleast as an early teen he was pretty hawt and was that popular rock guy.

That being said, Slash simply gets sexier with age.
