Welcome to the official start of the second post-it note project... more colours, a theme and a contest!

This journal is just to explain the contest element of the project, to find out more about the project and to download the templates to take part, please go to the project deviation page which can be found here!

The Theme

= One thing we all have in common is that we are members of DeviantART. We are part of a community. It's a large community and we've all experiences different elements, sections and groups of people. Therefore the theme of the second post it note project is going to be "DeviantART"!

= All post its must be dA related in some respect... whether you are giving people tips on where to social, your favourite galleries on dA... your favourite emoticon... memories from dA... advice for new members... unfound elements of dA you think need to be exposed more... it's up to you!

= Any negative post its wont be added to the project... let's keep this upbeat, perky and just generally a laugh! This is not a serious project, it's all for the LULZ!

The Rules

= You must use one of the post-it note templates as provided from the downloadable file on the project deviantion page found here
= You must follow the theme which is "deviantArt related" (see above)
= Your post it must be submitted to either devious fun or scraps
= Judges are able to enter the project, but their submissions will not be accepted into the contest.
= You must notify me of your entry into the project by leaving me a comment on the project deviantion page found here. By doing this you automatically are submitted into the contest - this comment must be submitted before Saturday 29th August 2009 11.59pm UK time.
= You can enter as many times as you wish, however only one post it note can be given a prize winning place (the post it with the highest points awarded).


The Deadline

Although the project has no set deadline, the contest element does. The deadline for submitting your comment to confirm entry into the project/contest is on Saturday 29th August 2009 11.59pm UK time. This gives you over 2 months!

Any comments adding post its to the project after this time, will not be entered into the contest.


The Judging

There are 5 judges for the contest who are: `ChewedKandi ^Ikue *phig ^PurpelBlur and *Sewwy

They will pick their favourite post it notes based on personal preference... it could be anything, what they find most useful, informative, they like how they are presented, how it is written... ANYTHING! There is no set formula

Each judge will pick 5 post it notes and they will be given points - the top 3 post it's with the most points will recieve prizes. Should a tie breaker situation occur, an external judge (who is not part of the project) will decide.
