Movember (the month formerly known as November) is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer and testicular cancer. At the start of Movember guys register with a clean shaven face. The Movember participants, known as Mo Bros, have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their Mo, raising money along the way to benefit men's health.
Unfortunately, as a female, I'm unable to grow my own moustache! However I'm taking part in the event in a creative manner, thanks to
Gallery of Mo. Artists are giving their time to create portraits for cash donations to Movember. They receive no funds themselves and all the money goes to the registered charity "
Movember".
I have
one portrait spot available for a £50 GBP donation. If you'd like to commission a portrait with a moustache from me, you can find out how via my
Gallery of Mo artist page.
As a lover of facial hair, I've vectored it in several different styles and even have a full beard wearing other half who has inspired several of my portraits. Check out the following facial hair portraits I've created in vector and vexel to give you an idea of what your commissioned portrait could look like.
