Introduction
The "Golden Pen Award" is the equivalent of the Oscar for the Vector Community. The Golden Pen Award will be presented annually by the Moderator of the Vector Gallery to recognize excellence in the vector medium. The categories are based on major sections of the vector gallery which include: Abstract, Animals, Objects, People, Scenes and Vehicles.
Nominations were received by several members of the vector art community and judged by ex Gallery Moderator $Ikue, who is also the founder of the GPA and yours truly.
Objects
Object Vector Art: Vector artwork where the main focus is based are inanimate objects.
And the winner is...
Mary Winkler aka =marywinkler proves the "kawaii" can carry a unique and stylish treatment. Her Anthro pieces can bring a smile to the darkest vector artist, not only for their compositions but also for their skillful rendering. Mixing bold palettes of solid colour and gradients, Mary is a master of the genre and creates confidently bold designs.
