It depends on how much they helped. If, for example, they pointed out that something looked wrong and then gave me feedback on various wip updates I showed them, that would certainly mean I'd give credit for their help, but if I showed them a wip and they just said "the eye looks wrong" and offered no further help or feedback then I don't credit.. because I don't see there being anything to give credit for.

I always give credit, because I don't want to feel like 1) I'm ripping them off and 2) like I'm not thankful for the help.
