I usually do that when i discover a new artist, i mean sure you did those pieces 3+ years ago, but to me they're brand new. Also, i use the Fav+ system as a sort of archiving tool, sometimes i just go through all the favs I've made for inspiration or if i'm just bored lol.

I don't really care about the thanks...honestly getting a billion "thanks for the fav" (even worse when they link to their deviation, because then i'm just being their whore lol) annoys the hell out of me; I'd rather them look @ my gallery, that's a better thank you to me. (btw when someone favs me, I make an effort to critique or fav something from their gallery.)

its weird, and i'm iffy about it... i've got around 8 who fave everything i put out every time i put out something new, crappy or not. my solution: i stopped thanking them every time, only once in awhile if my thank you's not still visible on their page. Which makes me feel bad, but i don't think they're really even looking at my work. i do have to admit i have a few artists i that i'm obsessed with, but after seeing how i felt i try not to fave their stuff too often, i just visit their pages. and honestly i don't like everything they do either. it's just weird.

I find it somewhat suspicious. I dunno, maybe i'm paranoid, but after having my work stolen and passed off as someone elses, having someone faving pretty much all oft he gallery does raise some red flags. Especially when they have no work of their own and haven't been a member long.

I think it's a little odd, but sometimes I fave a ton of things from a certain artist. I don't fave entire galleries, just the things i like.

I find it a bit odd when I get 20 faves at one time from the same person but hey- a fav is a fav, I'm not that kind of a person who's going to complain about that ;]

Most I have ever had done is about half of my gallery at once. It is annoying. But then again, I appreciate it. They took to the time to give my art a look. Maybe they barely looked at it. But they did still give it a chance.

So yes, it is annoying that I have around a hundred messages in my message centre. But I would gladly take that over them never seeing my gallery at all, you know?

I what I like. Usually, if I start faving a lot of stuff from someones gallery, I them because I really like their work. It's never all their new stuff. At least I don't think so. I just look at what moves me in some way. What inspires.

As far as people ing a lot of things in my gallery, I guess I don't mind that. They are usually random things that they fav. I'm not popular so I guess that why something like that doesn't happen as often.

The only one that annoys me a bit is this piece I have of Charlie the Unicorn. EVERYONE fav's that and it's like the least important thing I have but it's the most faved thing in my gallery. It's like a "fav and run" without even looking at my other work. (At least that's the case most of the time because their fav galleries are full of Charlie the Unicorn art).

I find it somewhat annoying myself.

When I fave something it is because I really like it, I find it inspiring,or It is somehow meaningful to me and invokes some sort of emotion. I don't think that I have ever faved someones entire gallery or ALL of their newest work, however there was one time that I remember someone had only a few pieces and I did fave the majority of them. I also only watch someone if I really like their work and/or I am curious to see what else they are going to submit.
I generally have difficulty communicating using words, so I do not often comment on anything and weather or not I comment on something has nothing to do with weather or not I fave something and vice-versa.

i fav what i like. and faving all of them takes time. i don't have so much time

Well, I fav all the works I like and don't expect to get anything back for this.
For me it's a way of trying to give support and/or encouragement to the people I admire.
I usually don't thank for the favs, but it's always a compliment when someone fav my work...
