Is it possible to use raster textures to create 100% scalable vector art? ^ChewedKandi answers that question with From Stock Texture to Vector, a wonderful video tutorial that demonstrates software techniques to help ensure that your vector art remains infinitely scalable to any size without fear of pixelation. It's a perfect feature for February's Vector Resource Fridays.

Use raster textures like this on vector and want to prove to others it's 100% vector cos you followed this tutorial? Link this tutorial to your deviation.

I ran a poll today... which one of these, if any, is 100% vector?

Both?
Neither?

Well this is to prove a point... and the point is that infact one of them is 100% vector and the other is a vector image with a raster texture on it... and you too can make a vector with a texture on it which will be 100% vector.

I used the following for this video:
(which includes stock from: [link] [link] and several of my own brushes)

Apologies for the sound quality - this is a new computer and I can't find the software I used to use.

And at the end of the tutorial, you will find the answer to the poll.
