Introduction

Mr Dika Toolkit04 is a highly talented, chaotic, graphical, passionate vector artist. He's fighting the war against raster with CorelDRAW despite his peers using Illustrator and he's doing it with great style. He actively collaborates within the vector community and always finds time to talk about girls with glasses! It's time to get personal and time to get Straight to the Point!

Who is the person behind the username?
Ordinary boy who loves art *always think vector art is the best!! Big fan of a girl with glasses.

What do you do when you're not on deviantART?
I still doing art stuff.. making logo, t-shirt design.. commission stuff.

If you were stranded on a desert island and had to take three items and two people and one meal

what would they be and why?
My phone, Computer, Internet modem (items) | My parents (people) | Rice & eggs (meal)
Those things are really important for me.. I need computer so I still can make art. I choose to bring my parents to keep me motivated and about the meal.. I just love rice and eggs, can’t live without this.

What are your top five favourite songs?
Papercut, Numb (Linkin Park),

Would you rather dance or sing in public?
Dance!!! XD

Would you rather live in the countryside or city?
City for sure!

Scalable You

How did you get into vector art?
Back in the day, in my city Bandung.. where clothing label become so massive, vector art is the only option to create graphic for t-shirt. So I use vector software since then.

What program do you use to create your work and which operating system do you use?
I use Corel Draw and PC/Windows.

What are your primary sources of inspiration?
Deviantart and FFFFound.

How would you describe your style?
I make vector art with different style. But If you notice, most of my vector art base with line art, Scretch shapes/effect. I don't use many colors. Black is more dominant.

What tool/effect do you enjoy playing with the most?
I love polyline tool (Corel Draw) because I like to play with outline.

If you were a vector tool, what would you be and why?
Same answer.. Polyline tool

If you could give one piece of advice to other vector artists, what would it be?
Start to make your own style. Because vector art will give you unlimited style to explore.

Is there something you know now that you wish you'd have known when you first started out in

vector? If so, what is it?
How to make a scretch effect. I find this style and I can develop it after 4 years I use vector software.

What made you join deviantART?
Because I think dA is a cool website.. and yes it is a cool website till now.. I can see so many great artworks with different style/platforms from great artist all over the world.

useful?
I always check new vector artwork at #vector-artists. Vector is growing so fast right now.

What would your advice be for any new vector art deviantART members?
It’s time for them to show something different.. and don’t forget to say hai to “old” member.. hehehe

What has been your greatest achievement/proudest moment as a deviantART member?
Got Daily Deviation I think & people know me as a vector artist from dA .. hehe

Is there anything you'd like to achieve on deviantART?
Not really.. so far I have fun with dA!

What is your favourite emoticon on deviantART?
Wow.. so many emoticons now.. but still my favorite is >>>

Would you prefer to vector a llama or fella?
Oh yeah Fella that would be cool.. fella with my scretch effect! ^^

Because he needs a break. He just too tired. He needs life. LOL
